Researcher

About this Opportunity:

We need researchers to help with collating as many mental health, addiction, and dual diagnosis-specific statistics and collate lists of dual diagnosis-specific academic articles and content that we will use to create stats to be displayed on the site, but also to be used in the development of content and specifically to create graphics for DRA's various social media channels.

Knowledge and experience in using Google, YouTube and other online tools to conduct research would be really useful as it'll reduce how much training we will need to give the people who apply for these voluntary or service positions.

We'll be looking for and collating data such as:

    • How common dual diagnosis is in different US states and countries

    • How common addiction issues are with different mental health diagnoses (by state and by country)

Training can be provided if needed, but people applying for these positions will need to have access to the internet, be ok with using Microsoft Office, and preferably either know a bit about using advanced search operators in Google searches or be willing to learn how to use them

Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will be in charge of researching and collating state and country-specific statistics on addiction, mental health, and dual diagnosis-specific statistics and relevant quotes from academic research, using Microsoft 365.

This information will be used across all of Dual Recovery Anonymous' social media channels, so you'll be responsible for making sure that the statistics and quotes that you collect, are useful and accurate, and that you have saved links to the sources where you find the stats and quotes from academic research.

Activities Associated with this Opportunity:
